Here is what is happening in Chicagoland area: It is gray. It is raining. Then I heard thunder and lightning. Snow is predicted for tomorrow night. Spring flowers are trying to push their way up through the soil. I hear that showers bring flowers. And so it is.

Sunrise at Lake Michigan. Isn't nature just lovely all decked out in Pink? I couldn't believe it when the waves were rolling in and rolling out which appeared to be yes PINK.
Think I'll go raid the goody drawer for some Cherry Chocolate Kisses and grab a Cherry Coke out of the refrigerator and then go take a peek at what the other ladies have posted this week. So glad you could stop for a spell. Hope you will drop by next time. Meanwhile, take care.

Grasses No. One

Grasses No. Two

Grasses No. Three
My husband and I have been admiring the grasses located all over the mid-west area. Grasses are so bold and beautiful usually situated near barren trees. Some grasses even hang out in alleys by garbage cans; but other plants sway to and fro while standing knee deep in snow. Grasses right now are tan in color. Summer grasses are green, veriegated, yellow or red in color. Oh my goodness a simple thing like grass can catch the eye of folks passing in a car, bike or walking. Thanks for checking out this site. I certainly hope you will visit again. Meanwhile, take care.

The saying around Chicago is: If you don't like the weather stick around for five minutes and it will change. That could mean cold, colder, coldest, gray, dreary, gloomy, even sleet or snow. Sunny skies are here again....my kind of weather! Breath in the nice fresh air. I think I smell Spring! Hip, Hip, Hooray!

Only a few chunks of ice left on shoreline of Lake Michigan. Water is now open.

Lake Michigan just a few weeks ago, ice was melting. How weird I see an upside down Valentine. Do you?

Goals-365 Days of Quotes

"Thirty spokes converge upon a single hub;
It is the hole in the center that the use of the cart hinges;

We make a vessel from a lump a clay;
It is the empty space within the vessel that makes it useful;

We make doors and windows for a room;
But it is the empty spaces that make the room liveable;

Thus while the tangible has advantages;
It is the intangible that makes it useful."
