Thinking Outside of the Box - Pensacola Road Less Traveled

I took this shot in Hayward, Wisconsin (on Pensacola a short cut). I put the original image trees and a road into Picasa 3 and had a bit of fun. This is the outcome.  Don't the trees look like feathers?  Somehow the road looks like sky reflecting into a pool of water.

To explain myself, every Monday for 52 weeks in a year, I try to post an image of what is overlooked, don't see, or change an image so something looks differently which is called Thinking Outside of the Box.

2/12 Outdoor Wednesday - #266

Howdy folks!    If you would like to view Outdoor Photographs click here: http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/.  Thank you Susan for being our hostess.

I'm dreaming of green grass, hydraneas, and bike riding.   Noticed in photographic files that I never posted these snaps.   So, instead of H-E-R-E'-S  JOHNNNNY!  It's H-E-R-E'-S  SAYBROOK COUNTRY BARRRRRN.   If you like to mix shopping with lunch this is the place to go in Saybrook, Connecticut.
Katherine Hepburn used to walk these sidewalks and breath air here.

Thinking Outside the Box - Palm Tree

Put a palm tree into Picasa Photo Program, played a while and came up with this.    Usually I post Thinking Outside the Box images on Monday.   I'm a day late and a dollar short.   Oh well.   Next week, perhaps, life won't interrupt me and I can be on time again with my goals.

A third woman asked Cameron about his writing process.  Cameron grinned. "I sit down at my desk, turn on my computer, and hope for the best.  And when that doesn't work, I read The Hardy Boys."

2/5/2014 Outdoor Wednesday - Manatee Sanctuary Park - Dolphin Sightings

Thank you Susan for being the hostess.

Manatee Sanctuary Park, 701 Thurm Blvd., Cape Canaveral, FL  32920

My husband, John and I left Orlando, Florida for a day trip.   After we had breakfast in Cocoa Beach, we discovered this wonderful place Manatee Sanctuary Park.   If one looks closely one will see water movement which is a dolphin.

I tried but failed to get the shot of a dolphin.   See the movement of water now almost not visible to the eye any more that is the same dolphin.  Oh my, I just love dolphins.   Once we went to Sea World in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with my mother-in-law.   We were actually able to feed smelt to baby dolphins and pet them.   Trainers were trying to get these dolphins used to being around people.  What an experience!

Found this symbol at Lake Michigan on the ground in the snow.   Wonder how many times people have stepped on it and were not even aware of its existence?
