Pink Saturday - August 29, 2009

Could this be a Pink Flamingo in the northern part of Wisconsin? Yeppers. It is! Notice the wings have been clipped. Otherwise, they would be in Florida where it is sunny and warm not grey, windy and chilly.

Pink Saturday - August 22, 2009

My husband and I went to check out a lake nearby and discovered the low water level would make it impossible to access the lake without using tall boots or hip wadders. We determined that it would be just too gross for us to walk in all that mud. This outing turned into a photo shoot instead of a fishing excursion. I couldn't pass up this shot of a Pink flower hugging a boulder.
