Your clematis is beautiful. I have never had much luck with clematis, I think it is our intense heat and humidity in N FL. In our early Spring (Mar) my clematis did very well but now not so much. I have had a beautiful blue planted for about three years and it keeps coming back up but it gets extremely stressed long about now. I'll just keep trying because I just love clematis.
