Greetings and Salutations!

WP20161203002C - Pandemic, 2020

Before the Pandemic 2020 this is what restaurants in a mall looked like.  For how many days, how many weeks, how many months have we been staying inside wherever we live?  We have been allowed to order food curbside or take-out.  On May 29, 2020 Governor Pritzker of Illinois released certain non-essential businesses to open such as beauty salons, barber shops and now restaurants can serve their customers. However, customers are not allowed to eat inside the restaurant.  The challenge to restaurant owners is tables must be 6 feet away from each other outside on a patio, sidewalk or on a closed to traffic street. The question is will the customers show up to take off their masks and believe they are safe enough to eat somewhere else besides home?  Is it too late for the restaurant owners to make up what they have lost financially during the pandemicof 2020?

  1. I am sure a lot of restaurants will close. The ones that stay open will have to make a lot of changes. At first I missed going out to eat, but as time goes in, I miss it less and less,

    1. I am getting used to being home being a caregiver for my husband. I cook homemade meals or sometimes he just wants sandwiches. He misses people. Customers at restaurants will probably be handled differently than before. Adjust or fail for all concerned. Take care, Sallie.
