This week, John, my husband, was scheduled for an appointment with a dietitian at Evanston Hospital (State of Illinois). He had a heart attack January 28, 2008. Four stents were put in his clogged veins. He had one stent fail. Three months later to the exact day, he had two more stents put in. He calls himself the six pack now. This year he is having a lot of follow-up doctor appointments. Seeing the dietitian is necessary for him to address losing weight, as well as, controlling his blood glucose level by counting carbohydrates. I tagged along because I am responsible for cooking most of the meals.
Who brings their camera along when going to a hospital? I do. While waiting for the elevator, I noticed in the gift shop window these cute bunnies with pink ribbons. My focus is to come up with a pink item every Saturday. I never saw pink in the universe before. Now I see pink things everywhere. This is an eye opening experience. Thank you Beverly for being the hostess for Pink Saturday.
