Traffic in Chicagoland area is heavy.   We were going to join relatives for dinner.  Just to get there this is what we had to put up with.  Going home was much faster because the rush hour traffic was gone.

I was doing errands today like go get a blood test, get the flu shot, buy Dunkin Donut coffee which is on sale at Walgreen's.  These are the photographs I took while marking things to do off my list.

Sunset yesterday.

I was at Walgreen's waiting to get my flu shot.  I looked around and noticed this quote on the wall.  How true it is!  It is definately a reminder to be grateful for our health.  And so it is.

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is near.  One of the side dishes at our table are cranberries. I took these images in October, 2016 and thought today was a good time to post how the growers work so hard to get these berries to the grocery stores.  Did you know that there are dried cranberries too in all different flavors:  original, blueberry, orange, raspberry, and strawberry, etc.  My favorite is the original.
