5/30/2016 - Thinking Outside the Box - Knife and Fork

Photo taken May, 2016 at the Mill on the River Restaurant, 989 Ellington Road, South Windsor, CT, 06074.

Notice the Number 7 on the knife.  CT is a beautiful state with the Spring trees in bloom, cliffs cracked with water streaming out of them, and State Parks a must see.  Be sure to take in the tasty ice cream at Mortensen Dairy, 3135 Berlin Turnpike, Newington, CT - 860 666 8219.  Best banana split I ever had!

5/26/2016 - Outdoor Wednesday - #385 - Rocky Neck State Park, Lyme, CT

Howdy Folks!   I'm a bit late posting but better late than never.  If you would like to view Outdoor Themes click here: http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/.  Thank you Susan for being the hostess.

Drove to Rocky Neck State Park Beach, East Lyme, Connecticut.

I arrived at a huge parking lot.   Found a place to park the car.   Right away I asked someone nearby getting out of their vehicle, "Where's the beach?"  They were tourists too and replied, "They didn't know."   I said, "Quess we follow the others walking that a way!"  And so, eventually, I saw this tunnel under a railroad track.  Oh, there's the beach, I thought.  Cool!

View of the sandy beach, houses on the shoreline and the ocean.

People at the beach getting a sun tan about midway along the shore.

At the other end, it was a very rocky shore with no vegetation growing in between the boulders .  I found two sea shells.  Enjoyed the time spent at the sea shore in Connecticut.

One of my favorite things is to get outside and go to the beach. I found two sea shells.  Enjoyed the time spent at the sea shore in Connecticut.

On the road again for a day trip.  Bad visibility.   Looks like another world is putting a blanket over earth.

Working on perspective.

5/2/2016 - Thinking Outside the Box - Past, Present and Future - Quote - Lao Tzo - Past, Future, Present

This image was taken at Kenilworth Beach in an elevator.  Shot looking towards land instead of the sea.

"If you are depressed, you are living in the past.  If you are anxious, you are living in the future.  If you are at peace, you are living in the present."
