This week I am featuring the Burnham Log House, Winnetka, Illinois, photographed during blizzard conditions Tuesday, February 9th. If you would like more information click here:
http://winnetkahistory.org/indexphp?id=170. Isn't it hard to see where the sky begins and the land ends?
Thanks to the skywatch team who are: Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy, Louise and Sylvia for all your hard work in making Skywatch Friday possible. Click here to participate or view other skies from all over the world: http://skyley.blogspot.com/.

  1. It is hard to get anything right now that does not have snow in it. We area getting a big one for our area. Never had this much in 32 years.

  5. Its as if the log cabin in the distance represents the ancestors that are lodged in time watching over the young tree in the center of the photo.

  11. Looks very cold to me! As Jom said, the sky isn't always blue - this is something that doing SWF has taught me - to learn to look for the beauty and interest in all kinds of skies and weather conditions. I hope you warm up soon!
