Friday, January 31, 2020 - Skywatch Friday - Anticipation - IMG 5218B

Anticipation


IMG5218B - Grayness envelopes the Chicagoland area for weeks with a dusting of snow off and on.  I just realized that January is over.  The folks in this area have only one more month, February, to deal with cold weather and snow. Yea!  I am in gratitude that the gray background does have its own beauty. And so it is.

    My cousin and his wife are out visiting from Chicago. He says they have a hard time with the Chicagoland winters, so they like to come out to the CA desert for a little break!

    I like sunlight as much as anybody but I don't mind the gray either, it is somber and invites one to solitude.
