SkyWatch Friday - Lake Michigan - Quote - Ansel Adams - "Alive"
Image WP20160121003C - Lake Michigan
Quote:
“The whole world is, to me, very much "alive" - all the little growing things, even the rocks. I can't look at a swell bit of grass and earth, for instance, without feeling the essential life - the things going on - within them. The same goes for a mountain, or a bit of the ocean, or a magnificent piece of old wood.”
~ Ansel Adams

Deletebeautiful soft light....I love it.

DeleteWow! All frozen
ReplyDeleteLake Michigan never freezes all the way through. The 5 great lakes in U.S.A. are treacherous. Under tow goes out into lake not into the shore like the ocean does. Each winter season the frozen part near the land looks different. Sometimes it has frozen balls on top of each other. Other times it has hills of ice. It is a wonder to behold.
Delete...Joyce, I love the soft winter glow and Ansel Adams quote. Take care and stay well.
