Agreed new construction going up everywhere. In our area, the sad thing is that they tear down a perfectly good home and build one that takes up the whole yard. Most of the CEO's take the "L" or the Northwestern train downtown Chicago so they don't need much of a yard. A big house, a garage and patio and a wee bit of grass are the going features right now. To each their own. Time moves on. Tyvek is everywhere.
Lumber prices are sky high. I am putting off fixing things around here because of that problem. I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed that lumber prices will come down in my lifetime. LOL!
Oh, that blue sky, I am envious. And that construction worker should be happy he's there and not here. Overcast skies are back for the next few days. We even had snow flurries today.
Sometimes I think Tyvek rules the world.
ReplyDeleteMe too. LOL!
DeleteCreative photo of the construction worker juxtaposed against that awesome blue ~ sky!

ReplyDeleteUnusual color sky as background for construction workers that day. Usually it is gray and cloudy here. LOL!

ReplyDeleteAlana, well spring is just around the corner. Hopefully, there won't be too many snow flurries left.
DeleteClear blue sky on a busy day! The construction worker seems to focused on the work at hand, while we appreciate the beauty of nature!
ReplyDeleteUp so high that construction worker needed to keep his eye on what he was doing. Agreed, we could focus on nature's beauty.
ReplyDeleteGood catch. Sometimes these construction workers seem more like mountain climbers!
ReplyDeleteNicely composed and shot.
ReplyDeleteClear blue sky. Whenever I see workmen so up high, I fear for their safety.
