SkyWatch Friday - Lovelace Park - Quote - Henry Miller - Attention
Image 9105B - Lovelace Park, Evanston, IL - 2023
Quote:
“The moment one gives close attention to anything, even a blade of grass, it becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself.”
~ Henry Miller
Only two other people were at this park walking that day. The three of us were enjoying the color and mood of the sky. It is good to share this on a blog so the whole world can see nature's beauty too.
Beautiful picture. The quote is profound because it is quite true that the more you look, the more you will see and contemplate. People with perfect vision can blindly walk by their surroundings without giving attention to the environment and how they effect it.
Fabulous sky and mood in deed
ReplyDeleteThis is a park with a pond and sidewalk for walks. It used to be a garbage dump. LOL!
Deletetrue words and the beauty of the sky
ReplyDeleteIt is important to look at the grass, enjoy tea or coffee, to walk with intention.
DeleteLovely colour and mood in the sky.

DeleteNice sky, awesome quote!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky to have all those trails nearby.
DeleteI've never read Henry Miller. I see his grass and add a dandelion to mix things up.
ReplyDeleteDandelions are something to look at with intention for sure. Mixing things up is a really good way to come up with the unseen and the seen. Go for it!
DeleteSandi, thank you for leaving a comment.
