Thank you Susan for being our hostess.

Once a Ford dealership existed on a vacant lot next to this building. I have passed by this empty space so many times walking, riding my bike, driving my car. I didn't see these windows at first. Me, the "woman of looking for details" missed this shot so often. Finally, I saw it. I thought okay I'll photograph it another day. One day went by. One month went by. One year went by. I can't remember how many years has passed since I procrastinated on documenting these windows. Finally, on this day I remembered and got in my car and drove to the spot and took these three images. I suppose I should have taken more photographs like maybe six, or eight or ten. At least I took more than one photograph. Why did I only take three shots? No clue.

I have been studying lines, shapes, textures. This photograph is replete with metal, wood, glass, shingles, shades, peeling paint, rectangles, squares, and triangles. In the future I am sure some new construction will hide this canvas perhaps even tear this building down. Change. It is what it is.
