Thinking Outside the Box - Stove Gauge

Stove Gauge, Gene's Used Furniture and Antiques, Gene Hause, Prop., W14337 Hwy. 8, Weyerhauser, WI 54895.

Took a photograph of an antique stove gauge. Then added a fire background to make image look hotter than hot temperature wise. My favorite part of this photo is the round shape. FYI: Start an image with what you like then work from that.

Thinking Outside the Box - Lock and Chain

I took a shot of this lock and chain which was blocking off road usage in Hubbard Park, Meriden, CT. Image was average showing road, grass, weeds, tree forest and metal. All these textures got my juices flowing. I thought. And I thought. And kept thinking like Pooh Bear. I wanted this particular shot to look like someone was welding. Viola, here it is.
