Clematis blooming in our garden.  Honestly, this particular clematis looks like wax up close.   It is so perfect.  I am in awe of flowers, as well as, the Grand Canyon, a sunrise or a sunset, etc.   I see everything as a miracle.  And so it is.

7/25/2016 - Thinking Outside the Box - Window - Quote - Buckaroo Banzai

My husband, John, and I were on our way to Park Falls, Wisconsin, when we noticed this abandoned building with odd shaped windows.   He stopped the car.   I got out and preceded to tramp through tall weeds and grasses to take this image.   Each section of glass had different things reflecting in them.   This one glass panel fascinated me because it has two circles and many different shapes, lines and geometric forms.

Found this hanging on a pole in front of an abandoned house.   This item looks like a old fashioned dial telephone but isn't.   I got down on the ground till I could see clouds in the round holes and snapped this photograph.

Glad out houses have improved.   It is strange how often I have walked past these two doors and didn't even notice them in town. Historical photographs are a favorite of mine to look for and put into the file.  July, 2016 this out house is still standing even though it isn't being used. Tomorrow it may be gone.

7/4/2016 Thinking Outside the Box - Window Screen

HAPPY 4th of JULY!

This particular area was loaded with ticks!   I survived only because my husband removed some ticks with a switchblade.   I had to turn my head and not look while he did this home remedy.  It was worth the adventure though. Photography I love it but it does have ups and downs.

Hwy. A, Sawyer County - Abandoned Building.

What are the chances of seeing a miracle while on an errand with my husband?  100%. While driving down highway "A" in Sawyer County, Stone Lake, Wisconsin, he said, "when you see something you want to shoot, let me know."  And then there it was an abandoned building.  I asked, "Can we STOP here?" And so he did.  While he sat in the car making use of his cell phone, I went exploring textures, shooting through things, looking up, using the power of three.  I thanked him for stopping and then being patient while I took photographs.
