Greetings and Salutations! If you would like to view outdoor themes click here: http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/. Thanks Susan for being the hostess.
Lilies.
Hollyhocks.
My husband, John, and I visited Fifield, Wisconsin and discovered this very ornate doorway.
"Flowers are words which even a babe may understand."
~ Arthur Cleveland Coxe, THE SINGING OF BIRDS
And the lilies match the hollyhocks. I haven't been to the town or village or...? of Fifield for a lonnngggg time. I hear the national parks up there both had some kind of issue, flooding was it? Beautiful doorway. I can imagine how bad the mosquitos are up there considering how many layers of bug spray I put on for a walk in the daytime down here.

ReplyDeleteI would have loved to see more of the photos, but maybe you are so busy, not much time for blogging. Anyway they are lovely, thanks. I saw hollyhocks only in NZ.
