Pink Saturday

Hop on over and see what is featured on other sites that has a pink theme at: http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/. Thank you Beverly for being our hostess.

Long stemed roses being cut
but that small milk glass vase
was all I had.

Pink morning glory flower.

Pink morning glory flower with raindrops.
Morning glories climb up our fence and greet folks coming into our yard during the summer months. Usually they are blue in color, but last year pink flowers showed up too. I admire their delicate look and their strong roots. At night and early morning, their blooms are closed. It is one of my husband's favorite flowers. I adore them too.

  4. Delightful pink, girls colour, my colour! The roses are gorgeous and I love the morning glories. The inside with the raindrops is "glorious". I think this flower has snapped up the best name. What could be better than Morning Glory!
(also love the little poem, so gentle, but matter of fact.)
