Spring Is A Time For Gratitude

I would like to thank Liz LeBlanc, a professor at Oakton Community College, Des Plaines, Illinois, who spent many hours teaching me how to write a short story in an independent study class. Interested in taking college classes: http://oakton.edu/.

I appreciate all the writers who came and spoke at the Off Campus Writer's Workshop who meet at Winnetka Community House, Winnetka, Illinois on Thursdays, September through May. Show up and do the work by attending writing workshops: http://www.ocww.bizland.com/.

I also want to thank my husband, John Meyer and the rest of my family for always being there for me.

But most of all I would like to thank Elisabeth Bacon for a 20 year friendship. We shared ideas, books, quotations, and our work with each other. She was the photographer and artist. While I was writing poetry, short stories, and newspaper articles. She urged me to start blogging so I did last autumn. Elisabeth shipped a Sony digital camera to me. What an amazing gift! I am so grateful. If you want to see excellent photographs this is the place: http://creativitybitsandpieces.blogspot.com/.
