11/11/2009 Outdoor Wednesday #44

"Fallen leaves lying on the grass in the November sun bring more happiness than the daffodils."
...Cyril Connolly

Fall is here. One leaf on blacktop.

Fallen leaves under a metal pumpkin decoration.

Black and white image of an unknown species of a spider.

Same spider just in color.

  10. Hello Joyce,

I am not a fan of spiders, but that is a great shot! Amazing the difference between the two and how each one gives a different message.

Thank you for sharing your photos with us!

  17. These are gorgeous shots. I think my favorite is the lone leaf on the blacktop - very striking. And the spider shots are really well done. As long as you warn me if you are going to post any shots of snakes lol. Kathy

  21. Nice photography! Spiders are still making webs here too. I'm surprised they haven't given up since we've already had a hard frost. But there must still be some tasty morsels around for them to capture.

  22. I like the black and white photo of the spider best, in some way you see more details since there is no color to fool the eyes. MB
