3/17/2010 Outdoor Wednesday #62

"May good luck be with you wherever you go, and your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow."
...Irish Proverb

This week I decided to feature trees as a subject for Outdoor Wednesday. Today, I went on an adventure with my husband and son to Zion, Illinois. On the way we saw this bright blue sky and tree without leaves or buds. Spring is just around the corner isn't it?

We also saw trees standing in flooding waters at Gurnee Forest Preserves.

Just a few days ago this photo was taken of trees and snow. Life is pretty simple if we just smile on those glorious sunshiny days and also smile when we face those cloudy gray days. It is what it is. And so be it. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

  7. Such beautiful pictures! Looks like you’re a fellow photographer. I’m just getting my feet wet in the vast world of photography but having a lot of fun with it. It can be a little over whelming……at least for me. I’m in the mist of creating a photography blog and have been lucky enough to book a few shoots through word of mouth. Is photography something you do for fun or as a profession, or maybe a little of both?

Happy St Patty’s Day to ya!
