I was down at Lake Michigan and saw this tree with just a few leaves left on its branches. Soon snow will cover this sand and these boulders. Until then I am going to enjoy this mild weather. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for rain. We need the rain.
Today is Veteran's Day. I want to thank the men and women who have served this country in peace and in war.
Hi Joyce,
ReplyDeleteI love your photos, the nearly bare tree, with the water barely seen in the distance. We have had unseasonably mild weather, too, and I am loving every moment of it.
Thank you for visiting my blog and for leaving a comment.
Hugs, Cindy
Beautiful composition. The leaves caught my eye first, but the sky is wonderful, so interesting. Then the soft sand, the hard rocks, the glimpse of the lake. Lovely

That's a beautiful shot. I love the way bare trees look. I hope you get some rain soon. I know how hard a drought can be.

Hi Joyce, the atmosphere looks like you are in the desert. Love the moody colors!
ReplyDeleteNice, nice, nice. I like how you composed your photo with that rock on the side there. Something about that rock and the lighting that calms me.
