Lake Michigan is still open water with chunks of ice gathering here and there. These curious Canada Geese may have been looking for a hand out. I wonder why they didn't fly south?
Isn't it amazing how long this Canada Goose can stand on that cold patch of ice.
This Canada Goose kept following me.
Guess, this Canada Goose needed a drink.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteBeing in the South - I am used to seeing the geese. But I haven't seen any in a while. They're fantastic - is this one alone?
It is so cold here that I think they're probably even further south.
Love your pictures,
Kathy

Great images of the geese. I especially like the second image, the goose swimming along in the water. The light really captures the ripples.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting Geese show today. I like how you featured them and your comments. These probably thought a nice lady yourself would come by and feed them.
