Even though it is a bit dreary in the Chicagoland area right now, I did find these numerous lamp posts, the Chicago River and a sea gull flying up high just above the trees. There were also incredible clouds in the lower skyline. It is suppose to rain for a week with a slight break on Friday when we will view sunshine instead of cloudy, dreary, rainy, windy weather. Good thing I invested in a London Fog raincoat, it has come in handy this Spring.
Glad to see you are visiting again. I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed in hopes you will return next week to see what is posted.
The lamp posts look like steadfast soldiers! Love the dreamy shot!
ReplyDeleteI am sending my warm sun over to you!
Enjoy your week and your London Fog!
Hi Joyce!
ReplyDeleteI love this photo. I have only seen the sun in Chicago a couple of times. Each time I have visited, it was gloomy, rainy, and even snowy. But the few days of sun were spectacular...we walked from the Fairmont to Grant Park and played in the fallen leaves!!! (That was a real treat for me)
Wish I could send you some sun and warmth...it's been blazingly HOT! But beautiful...
Jane (artfully graced)
I really like the dark moody feel of this photo. We have had a very rainy spring here too, the sun is finally starting to make an appearance on occasion.
ReplyDeleteI love your header photo!
I enjoyed visiting your blog. A great photo of the lamp posts and fence ... on a dreary day. I hope you get past the rain and enjoy lots of sunshine next week.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteLove the light posts. This is a beautiful scene, one I'd love to walk along.
Kathy
Interesting shot! I like the angle of the lamp posts and how they are lined up.
