Pink Saturday July 7, 2012
If you would like to participate or view blogs who have posted PINK things click here: http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/. Thank you Beverly for being the hostess.
Unidentified flower, photograph taken at the Chicago Botanic Garden, Glencoe, IL.
This flower looks like fireworks to me. Then it also has PINK hues. The fourth of July is my absolute favorite holiday because there are no gifts required. Instead we share conversation over good food and then to top off the day we can thank the service men and woman during a parade for our freedom because it does not come free. Fireworks bring it all to an end.
I understand that some communities did not have fireworks due to drought and/or financial reasons. Luckily, folks can experience view fireworks online. We all should be grateful for what we have today of all days.
Have a wonderful week-end. Try to think positive the rest of the year. From our house to yours we wish you good health for the rest of this year.
