Thank you Susan for being the hostes.
John, my husband, and I were investigating the roads less traveled. Along the way we noticed this road leading into an area where trees were being logged. Above one can see a close-up of how the road is made up of logs.
Here is another shot of the road made up of logs from the rural road.
Heavy equipment has used this road.
Here is a picture of a mail box with a tooth ache!
That's crazy I've never seen anything like that log road. Good informational shot that shows you the construction.
ReplyDeleteInteresting road made with logs.
ReplyDeleteNice share of the log road and interesting mail box.
ReplyDeletePoor mailbox! ;)
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if that mailbox is near the logged road, or the connection. Is it? But i love its description you gave it, haha!

ReplyDeleteI had no idea they used logs for the roads to DO the logging - I would have thought they would prefer to harvest the logs. Fascinating!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting article about roads made of logs! Who knew... I didn't for sure.
