Hello. It is time to post Outdoor Wednesday photographs. My focus this week is on patterns. Umbrella is made of light colored fabric; but the orange color underneath was an unexpected surprise.
Umbrella close-up, taken a few minutes later. Notice that the lighting changed. Sunlight and shadows dancing on fabric created this image.
Close-up photograph of a solitary leaf. Notice the rich green tones and the golden spots creating an abstract image.
Close-up of another leaf. Notice the intricate veins, the round circles and green earthy tones which make up this abstract image.

I'm in love with light and shadow! After photographing my gardens for a year and a half, I started to see the juxtaposition of these things and to understand the quality this brights to the shot. Love it!
