SkyWatch Friday #49

When John and I were visiting Willimantic, Connecticut a few weeks ago, we saw this cemetery on a hillside. I couldn't wait to get out of the rental car to take these two shots. John is so patient and kind to pull over and wait while I do one of my favorite things to take travel photographs.
Lighting changes so fast. In a few minutes this is what the cemetery looked like next. Notice the sunset is in strips of lavender, pink and blue. Grave sites are at bottom of photograph.

Funny - my husband now is so used to stopping or even going around the block so I can photograph something that caught my eye as we drive.
