Our forest animals are popping up everywhere. We have black and grey squirrels running around daily but this is the first time we saw a white squirrel ever. John, my husband, named him/her Whiteeeeee. Notice its pink ears and eyes. John ran here and chased the white squirrel there until finally it posed in this tree. Whiteeeee must have known John was not going to give up.
Another time we were driving down a beautiful rural road when all of a sudden we saw Boo-Boo looking for a picnic basket. Boo-Boo decided not to cross the road. Instead Boo-Boo high tailed it into the green, green woods without a picnic basket. Poor Boo-Boo.
Last but not least, we saw this Blue Heron standing in a bay fishing. Why are they called Blue Heron's when they really are grey?
Our forest buddies are waving bye-bye for now.

What wonderful wildlife photos. I've never seen an albino squirrel, so I found that shot particularly interesting.
ReplyDeleteThere is one of the bloggers who does Outdoor Wednesdays who has a family of white squirrels who live in her yard, I wish I could remember offhand who it is, but alas the brain is on hiatus today. Her's are not albinos like the one in your picture. Pink eyes are the giveaway for this little guy. Nice that he posed so sweetly for the photo.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your wonderful photos! Boo Boo bear ~ great shot!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. ~ Hyacinth
