This photograph was taken while visiting St. Augustine, Florida, in December 2009. Notice the columns, the pale yellow walls and curved sidewalk.

Can you believe that there are only two more shopping days until Christmas? We have the tree decorated, the wreath hung on the front door and some cookies baked. Tomorrow I am hoping to make some fudge. Happy Holidays from our house to yours.

  4. I know, I am so excited for Christmas to be here.
Your photos are fabulous. The Spanish colonial one is my favorite. I love old buildings and the family histories that go with them.

  12. I like then you use naturel decoration on the door - nice.

    Once again, it's Christmas -
    that delightful time of year
When hearts are filled with gratitude
and homes are bright with cheer.

    When everyone's remembering
good friends and loved ones too -
    So naturally, the warmest thoughts
    and wishes go to you.

    May your home be filled
    with happiness,
    your hearts with love,
    your days with joy -
    at Christmas and always.

Merry Christmas and have a wonderful holiday,

    With love,
    Maria Berg, Sweden
