Rains a lot in the mid-west then turns sunny for awhile and then decides to pour some more.  Somehow during these blasts of rain and hot sun this clematis managed to bloom.     Look at this miracle of miracles.  Do you believe it... and of all colors the bloom is PINK.    I am happy!

My favorite holiday is 4th of July.  Folks gather around to share food, conversation and then fireworks.    I like this holiday best because there are no presents and everyone still has a blast.

My husband and I got into the car and drove until we saw a potential skywatch shot.   I know this is against the rules but I had to catch it.   He stopped the car.  I turned on the camera and kneeled in the middle of the road then took this shot.   I heard cars coming fast took another image just in case the other one didn't come out.   I ran to the car and thought safe at last and whoop pi!

This PINK roof and PINK window and door frame really caught my eye.   It is an abandoned house in Curacao.  This home must have a lot of stories to tell.

While our family was visiting Arizona, we decided to include shopping at Williams.   I saw this interesting sign.

I was revisiting Route 66.  It all looked different to me than it did years ago but I was pretty little then.

Arizona offers Alien Fresh Jerky.

Look at how much prices have gone up for hotel rooms.

The Red Garter caught my attention with the pretend woman hanging around outside the window with the blue awning.

The town of Williams was an awesome visit.  We shopped until we dropped.   Later, we drove back to the Grand Canyon for dinner at El Tovar Hotel for a sunset view.   What a trip!
