Thematic Photographic 55 - Cloudy and Skywatch Friday #50

"There ain't no
cloud so thick
that the sun ain't
shinin' on t'other side."
...Rattlesnake, An 1870's Mountain Man

Recently, my husband and I were purchasing bait at a nearby store. As we were leaving, all of a sudden I noticed the clouds. Tape had been placed over the cracked window. The owner gave me permission to shoot what I saw but not to mention the store name. I had to go back to cabin, pick-up camera and take the shot. Then John and I fished until dark.

This week to complete two goals, I am submitting one photograph for two sites. If you are interested in participating please read information below.

If you would like to post a photograph of Clouds on blogspot click here: http://writteninc.blogspot.com/2009/06/thematic-photographic-55-cloudy.html. Thank you Carmi for being the host.

  4. Gorgeous sky and interesting photo with the tape. Funny that you can't mention the store. I wonder if they have now fixed the window.

    Wishing you a grand weekend.

  15. This is a gorgeous shot, so well spotted! I love it. The marks of the tape across the window really add to it. And of course, your imagination runs riot presented with something like this, I mean, a broken and mended sky! Thank you for sharing this fantastic image!
