9/23/09 Outdoor Wednesday #37
Abandoned buildings seem to catch my eye. This building is made of brick but the interesting thing are the round holes. One round hole is open while the other round hole has been filled with mortar. The view in the windows intrigued me since they are gone. Shards of glass are not found on the ground only weeds and more weeds. Was this a restaurant? Perhaps it was a bowling alley? If only these brick walls could talk.

Interesting photo. I, too, love these old empty buildings..and houses. I always wonder what they could tell us if, as you say, could talk.
ReplyDeleteWhen I see abandoned buildings my first thought is ALWAYS 'if those walls could talk'....

ReplyDeleteFascinating images in your mosaic ... abandoned buildings always make me wonder about how they were once used and by whom. Thanks for your visit to Happily Retired Gal. I appreciate your feedback about my watery experimentation ;--)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
Hello,
ReplyDeleteGreat mosaic! I too find old abandoned buildings and houses intriguing. I wonder what secrets they are keeping. Although, sometimes it makes me sad to see them abandoned.
Thank you for sharing!
