Thank you Susan for being our hostess.

Photograph of aftermath of sea water on sand.

Photograph of patterns in the sand.

Photograph of more patterns on sand. Background shows the very cloudy day and Lake Michigan.

Lake Michigan waves rolling in and out from shoreline. Notice more patterns in the sand.
On a very cloudy day, I went to Lake Michigan for a photographic shoot. I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked down and saw the aftermath of rainwater on sand. This is amazing!

  1. Hello to someone who lives near the big pond! I have noticed sand and patterns, and photographed them, especially at Terry Andre State Park in the snow.

Isn't God amazing with a paintbrush and water. What he is able to show us each and every day of our lives. This is truly beautiful. Just beautiful. I thank you for sharing this morning. What a special gift.

Stop by soon. I always love the visit. Country hugs...Sherry

  16. Beautiful sand patterns, Joyce. The rippling tide often leaves beautiful patterns behind in the sand but these ones are quite spectacular!
