I would like to thank Beverly for being the hostess.
Look at these Pink Glam-Gloves made for dish washing. Remember the days when women and their daughters would put on aprons and one would wash and the other would dry. Of course, along with the project came small talk, sharing of recipes, and then the telephone would ring. Now most everyone uses a dishwasher. I admit, I still hand wash dishes but put them on a wooden rack to dry.

Hi, Joyce! I love those glam gloves. I got a similar pair from a friend a while back, and I love them. Aren't they fun??? I always need them most on holidays when I'm washing what seems like forty million dishes by hand. LOL!

ReplyDeleteHow did I make the memo? OK, I found a graphic of a post it (I'll send it to you if you give me your email addy) and downloaded it to my computer. Then I opened it in an editing program (PhotoScape) and added my words, saved it, resized it to 220 (sidebar dimension) and added it as a gadget! There you go!
ReplyDeleteMore questions and answers! What did you mean, did I design this? Design what? Do you mean the fact that I can print my recipes?
ReplyDeleteAs for the recipe box on my sidebar, I made that but could make one for you, too, if you'd like.

Hi, Joyce,
ReplyDeleteI can remember my mother wearing rubber gloves when she did the dishes. Your pair is very pretty and bright. Happy Pink Saturday, dear friend! Vicki
Happy Pink Saturday and thank you very much for your comments on my blogs.
ReplyDeleteSee you around
Cute one.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday Joyce.
Enjoy the weekend.
Hi Joyce! Love the pink gloves. I do still wash dishes with my own two hands. I HAD a dishwasher, until the "big bad move" I had to make, at the end of this past October. There was nowhere to put one in the new apartment, when I was lucky enough to at least fit my kitchen hutch! (and I SURE wasn't giving THAT up! I'd rather wash dishes!).. Anyways, I have GOT to get a pair of these pink ones! I wear them to protect my manicure.. ha!.. which I also do MYSELF! (0; Oh but how much fun these would be to wear than the standard old YELLOW gloves, right?!.. Happy Pink Saturday, and hope you're enjoying your weekend!
ReplyDeleteThis pink grubber gloves you have will surely make washing dishes much more enjoyable :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!
Mizpah,
Li
I've got to say those are the prettiest dishwashing gloves I've seen! Happy PS!
ReplyDeleteMaybe if I had a pair of delicious pink gloves like these I would think to wear gloves when I do the dishes!!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!!

Those are very pretty! I hand wash and put on a wooden rack to dry too. :) No gloves though.
ReplyDeleteThey are so pretty. So original.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!!!
Don't be thinking you can trick me into doing dishes with those gloves. I view them as an archeologist views old bones - as an artifact that belongs in the Smithsonian. Hope you had a great Pink Saturday.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, the days of aprons, dish washing and small talk....it still goes on in my kitchen today. For some reason,I don't seem to mind too much.., perhaps it's the wearing of my apron. That's it. It's the apron that takes the bad out of dish washing..:). Oh well..it's just an excuse to wear an apron. Happt belated Pink Saturday, have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteI think hand washing dishes would be almost delightful if I wore some of those darling pink gloves! Too cute for words!
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a wonderful Pink Sat!!! Dana
Cute, cute, cute! Love your dishwashing gloves, Joyce. I have a pair my sis gave me that are turquoise with flowers on the cuffs. You know a girl could hot glue pink boa feathers around the cuffs if she wanted to doll some up for herself. Happy Pinks~
