The saying around Chicago is: If you don't like the weather stick around for five minutes and it will change. That could mean cold, colder, coldest, gray, dreary, gloomy, even sleet or snow. Sunny skies are here again....my kind of weather! Breath in the nice fresh air. I think I smell Spring! Hip, Hip, Hooray!

Made me laugh. We got together with friends on the weekend and discovered that this is the same saying in southern Las Cruces, also in every place we have lived!

Lovely. We seem to have very similar weather to Chicago. I wonder if we can blame the Great Lakes. :))

ReplyDeleteMy favorite days at the beach are in the fall, when there's a little wind a very few people. Your photo shows the water just as it looks then.
