Pink Saturday - June 18, 2011

Pink petals arranged into a heart shape, Bridge of Flowers, Shelburne Falls, MA - 2011.

I couldn't believe that I walked across a bridge of flowers. It was like visiting a Botanic Gardens but on a smaller scale. It was breathtaking. Nearby was a waterfall and ancient glacier pot holes. Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts is definately a place to put on your "bucket list."

    What a great Pink Sat. contribution. I loved our short visit to MA a few years ago...we were in the Boston/Cape Cod area. Would love to put that place on my Bucket List!

    This is enchanting. A good friend of mine used to live at Shelburne Falls and I have fond memories of visiting your area to see her. Loved her to pieces and miss her terribly -- she died a number of years ago. This reminds me of Gail in so many ways. Thank you.

    This is delightful! We were lucky enough to be in one of the small villages of Cinque Terre (Italy) a few years ago. In honor of the Feast of Corpus Domini, all of the streets were covered with flower petals. It was an amazing sight - one I will never forget!
