Lessons I Have Learned

You do not have to explain yourself to anyone.

Betty Anderson (God Bless Her Soul) taught me this lesson.   After her husband died, each of her five children were able to start and finish a college education.  Betty retired from a company where she had worked for over 25 years.

    I love this sentiment. If only we spent more time speaking to our own inner voices instead of trying to bend to the will of others.

    The world would be a much more peaceful place were that the case. Many thanks for the timely reminder.
